E-mail Forwarding in Web Hosting
If you have a web hosting package with our company and you create an email address in your account, you'll be able to forward it with only a couple of clicks to any other address of your choosing. The feature can be activated whenever you set up a brand new mailbox or at any time afterwards and deactivated just as quickly if you change your mind. This is done from the Hepsia Hosting Control Panel where you can control your account. You'll have the option to decide if a duplicate of the incoming e-mails will stay on our servers or not. The main advantage of this option is you will always have a copy on your server if something happens with the other mailbox or if it's not active for reasons unknown during the time an e-mail is forwarded. In case the option is not enabled, an e-mail will be received, forwarded and erased from our servers no matter if the remote email address is working or not, so it might be a good idea to have it enabled just to be on the safe side.
E-mail Forwarding in Semi-dedicated Servers
For people with a semi-dedicated server from us, you will need only a couple of clicks inside the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Hosting Control Panel to forward any of the e-mails created on our server to a third-party e-mail address. In the very same section you will additionally be able to see how many of your mailboxes are forwarded and exactly where the inbound e-mails are sent. You can enable or disable a forwarding account at any time and throughout the process you can also choose whether a copy of the email messages needs to be maintained in our system or not. Although this option is not a must have, it's helpful because you will have a copy of the emails on our end in the event that anything occurs with the third-party mailbox. Even when they have just a momentary problem, you run the risk of losing email messages as once our server gets and forwards an e-mail, nothing at all will be stored on our end unless you chosen a backup to be saved.
