Of course, employing JailHost doesn't replace the security measures you must always take by keeping your scripts up-to-date and using long and complex passwords, yet it'll enable you to restrict the damage to one site only.

JailHost in Web Hosting

You can take advantage of JailHost with each and every web hosting plan that we offer and protect your websites against attacks quick and easy. Every single domain and subdomain in the Hepsia Control Panel that comes with our plans has a separate folder and contrary to what can often happen with other Control Panels, the site content is not mixed up inside a single main folder, so maintaining your websites separate is much simpler. Enabling JailHost for any Internet site takes just a couple of clicks, so even when you do not have a lot of experience, you won't need any special skills in order to keep your Internet sites protected. The option isn't active by default in case that you intend to use some script that needs accessibility to an additional folder in your account. If you use JailHost, the other websites that you have will be secured, but even a hacked one will not remain damaged for too long as we will have a couple of daily backups for it at all times, so that we could promptly restore it.

All of our semi-dedicated server plans come with JailHost included by default. This option is not activated automatically when you add a domain because you may need to use a certain script that accesses multiple folders in the account, yet you can activate it without difficulty via your Hepsia Control Panel and protect the rest of your websites with just a couple of clicks. Hepsia is much better to use for those who have multiple websites as it keeps them in individual folders and doesn't keep the files for several websites in the same folder like it often happens with alternative Control Panels. This enables us to offer JailHost as all the folders can be isolated from one another. If any of your sites gets hacked, we'll promptly restore it thanks to the several daily backups that we will keep and meanwhile your attacker won't be able to do further damage because the access to your other Internet sites will be blocked.
